Give your teeth a new lease of life with flexible dentures

Replacing your missing teeth is a big decision – but don’t worry, you don’t have to make it alone. At Sherwood Dental Care, we can help you make the right choice for you, based on your dental needs, personal preferences and budget, to help you work out what’s best for you.

One option for replacing teeth is to use flexible dentures, a comfortable and discreet way to help restore your smile. At Sherwood Dental Care, we offer a variety of options, including Valplast®.

The benefits of flexible dentures

Unlike more traditional ridged, bulky and unstable dental materials, flexible dentures are made from a plastic material which fits neatly into your mouth and is virtually invisible once in place. Here are just a handful of benefits:

  1. No unsightly metal clasps required
  2. Virtually invisible
  3. Durable yet flexible material

Everything you need to know about flexible dentures

    • Dentures are a great choice for replacing some or all of your teeth. They fit comfortably over your gums, with either complete (a full set) or partial (to replace some of the teeth) options available. While you may need a bit of practise to get used to them, you’ll be able to eat, talk and smile fairly normally in time.

    • A denture is removable, which means you can take it out of your mouth for cleaning both the appliance and your teeth and gums. It’s also minimally invasive, usually cheaper than a bridge, and can also be an option for those who have had a dental implant placed and want to cover the area while it heals.

    • It’s doubtful. They look very similar to your natural teeth and can be colour-matched to your smile. In fact, they’re often called ‘invisible’ because they are so discreet.

    • Simply contact our team today, and we’ll book you in for an appointment to assess your oral health and suitability. We’ll then talk you through what the treatment involves and any costings you need to be aware of.
